Over zealousness bites back

Two WPCs have been told by Ofsted they are breaking the law by looking after each others children. This is absolutely asinine, a state intrusion at its worst.

However I can't help feeling that the WPCs are being hoisted on the same petard the Police have been holding over other citizens. Police Officers ignoring common sense, good judgement or any form of wisdom and arresting or fining a law-abiding people for 'trival' crimes , because it is a good way of achieving performant targets and pleasing the Home Office.

Employment Scam

The Government set up a scheme where they pay Companies to create new jobs, by giving them money towards the cost of the first few months of the new employees wages.

However I keep hearing stories about people being sent for these jobs by the Job Centre. When they arrive they usually find the job is a Zero Hour Contract with an Employment agency. If they accept these contracts, their dole is stopped They wait on the end of a phone for casual work for ever and the employment agency pockets the government money.

The unemployed person is being scammed, the job center is being scammed, the tax payer and nobody seems to want to close up this loop hole which is making some people millionaires.

A dangerous cult on our door step?

It appears that Hull has it's very own dangerous cult on our door step. The TVIND School of thought operates out of Winnstead using a brain washing technique called the "Determination of modern Methods".

There mode of operation is to recruit well intentioned young people from around the world that that wish to learn English and help with third world development. These young people are sent out onto the streets of Hull and its surrounding towns and villages collecting used clothing door to door and signing up people to sponsor children in the third world.

Godwin's Law

Mike Godwin said "As a discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."

The corollary being that no further progress can achieved by continuing the discussion. It's clear that much of the media believe that by simply comparing the BNP to fascists they will go away.

The mass media miss Mike Godwin's point with Godwin's Law, the value of the comparison was always in its sparing use. In the past this severed us well, but the problem is that the comparison is made so often it no longer has much value in most peoples minds.

Contempt for Democracy

There has been a huge amount of hand wringing in the news recently about the election of two BNP MEPs. My view is corollary of Voltaire I detest what the BNP stands for but will defend with my dying breath their right to stand for it.

Any attempt to suppress the BNP from the democratic process is Contempt for Democracy. It is this contempt for the voting public is what got the BNP into this position of power in the first place.

The best way to neutralise the BNP is for the mainstream parties to respond to the legitimate concerns of the people voting BNP.

I see councillor 'Chuck' CJ Hunter saw fit to share his views concerning road safety with his public in the news story "MOTORCYCLIST DIES IN FATAL ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION ON THE A1033.". What the Councillor fails to disclose is the accident he caused on this same road which left a woman in hospital, seriously injured and needing months of NHS care.

Lowest income of any UK City.

I've just finished reading the news online and I'm sat wondering why the HDM is ignoring the revelation that Hull has the lowest income of any city in the UK.

Carl Minns, the council leader, with depressing complacency denies there is a problem, probably because he might have to get off his lazy arse and do some hand wringing.

Don't bother looking towards our useless Labour MPs; Alan Johnson and John Prescott haven't even bothered to comment on the news either. They have their safe seats so they can take there voters for granted. They are to busy looking after their own careers to bother looking after their constituents. The city had two MPs in the cabinet for most of this governments term and Hull is still the worst off city in the country.

Hull has never recovered since the Tory triple whammy of the 70's, they sold out the Fishing industry in the Anglo-Icelandic COD war; they run down and closed the cities docks; then to top it off saddled the local economy with the massive debt of the Humber Bridge and the massive unreasonable Bridge tolls acting as an economic brake for the last quarter century.

If you are frightened by the clamper he is guilty of threaterning behaviour, call the police.

If they demand a cash only make a complaint to the police for demanding money with menance. Call the Police.

If you car is removed without your permission then your car has been taken without the owners consent, if they refuse to return it then it is stolen. Call the Police.

You may remember the media reporting of the Death of Lee “Rolly" Conman in a gang fight a couple of years ago and my tip off at the time that the Conman family are a bunch of wrong-uns.

At the time you, the public only ever got half the story from the mainstream press. They painted the Conman family as innocent victims and suppressed the dirt. So let me remind you of the details. The Conman family have a history of petty thievery, extreme violence and long running feuds that goes back at least three generations, like grandfather, like father, like son. At the time you only ever got half the story from the mainstream media, I gave you the extra facts the mainstream media suppressed, including the Conman brothers connection to the notorious murderer & drug dealer Kevin Batty.

Making public these hidden details the mainstream media seek to suppress is the very reason this blog was started in the first place.

Well the latest news the dull mail is suppressing is that is the fact that father & uncle Lee & Neal have been having a bit of ding-dong between themselves, and now one of them has admitted to hospital, (one source even says intensive care) with serious head injuries.

The media have paid a lot of attention to the Jean Charles de Menezes case recently. We seen them repeat claims that Metropolitan Police lied and mislead the public.

Theyconveniently ignore the fact the media was full of misinformation it self. The claims commonly attributed to the Met originally came from the media themselves not the Met.

These eye witness accounts were reported by the BBC not the met.

Those witness statements are now heavily disputed by the very people that sensationalised them in the first place, the media! The very same media that is currently trying to stir up a frenzy of recrimination against the Met.

Their intent seems to be to incite hatred of the Police, or just maybe they are trying to cover up their own fabrications and gross distorts of the truth.

Traditionally journalists are the arbiters of what can be said and what cannot said. Journalists had more power to censor opponents than politicians. Journalists invented the term 'Politically Correct'. Journalists could dismiss those that disagree as green inked cranks. Journalists steadily distanced themselves from opposing views and came to believe they are omnipotent.

Journalists are human they not infallible, they make human mistakes, they suffer from human fallibility. In the past there there was no way to effectively challenge what journalists reported, what journalists believed.

The Internet and Blogs in particular have changed that situation, it has given the ordinary people a voice, a voice that can be heard from one side of the world to the other.
